Separate warning system?

I've looked but can't find anything. Is there any add-on/hack that will allow me to have two separate tiers of warning points? There is one node on our site that's quite different to the rest and is insanely popular (relatively). I'd like to be able to give users a second set of warning points, where reaching a threshold adds them to a usergroup gives them a temporary ban from that node only.

Anything I can do?
