Sending newsletter mail

I need to send a newsletter to all 8.000 users. The problem is: my webhoster allows max. 150 mails per minute.

Is there any way to send 150 mails in one minute and more 150 in next minutes??

XF does not have any form of rate limiting built in.

Haven't used it myself but you could check out Xon's add-on https://xenforo.com/community/resources/email-queuing-enhancements.6631/

Not sure how it'd work with the email communicate option for a newsletter of sorts though.

I don't think that will work. There is no time limit for queue holding.

I ended up setting up an account with Reachmail. I exported my list created my newsletter and sent it out.

I also considered setting up a email server at home. I may do that is the future.
