    Hi there,

Im trying to select a private style of one of users without giving anyone else the options to select diffrent styles.

I have my style enable with [Allow User Selection] but the other one i have this turned off.
If i go to the admin -> users -> [User-Name] -> Preferences -> change style to the personal one.

The user is unable to see the style.

What am i doing wrong? ;)

You can't set a disallowed style for a user in the ACP in that way.

Only Administrators can select styles which aren't allowed for normal user selection.

Is there any way of mods doing the same as the admins?

There is no option for that, it would require editing the core files.

if you only have one style that you want your users to view, then you can always edit the footer template and wrap the style chooser with a conditional for only members of specific user groups to see it.. that way you could let your Staff chose different styles, but not other user groups. just a thought..

The style would still be available for selection from Account Preferences.

ya... I was going to walk him through taking care of that with editing the account_preferences template as well to prevent that.

Anywhere else that I am forgetting?
