Design issue Searched words with apostrophe not showing in bold

Not the biggest issue, but it happens.

For instance, a search for "can't upload" puts "upload" in bold, but doesn't do it for "can't".

Roughly speaking this is a design issue and not something we're looking to change currently. It relates to the fact that highlighting has to happen on HTML-escaped content but that we extract any HTML entities to avoid a situation where the escaping might be broken.

Oh, well. For the record, my French users report that it also happens with any word with an accent such as these words: même très français
