Fixed Search forum widget offers choice of view, but no obvious way to do it

Much as I appreciate the use of the word thereof, I am sure that either there is no option to show a snippet thereof, or if there is it is incredibly well hidden.

This either needs a box to choose a snippet thereof, or else a better explanation of how you go about it.

A second very minor point:

There is also a (useability) problem with showing the full content which is that as it is only the first post that shows, it is not obvious that this is just the first post of a very popular thread, or how to get to the actual thread. The only way is to click on the post titiule, but it isn't obvious that is what you need to do.

Notwithstanding, I am very happy to have the widget, very useful well done team and thanks!

Heh, I reported that back in October (in Slack) but it was never dealt with.

The snippet length only applies to article forums and the phrase is being (erroneously) user here also.

Hence why I created this suggestion:
