XF 1.1 search fatal error

When I do a search it errors out on

Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0

Any ideas?

A Google search reveals some possible causes relating to faulty code. Try disabling your addons.

That's a nightmare error to debug, as it's usually considered an error within an error. Disabling add-ons is probably a good start to see if that helps.

OK,

Turned off all add-ons, and one by one checked the response,

When I turn on "ragtek Create Thread from what's new 1.0.0 Beta2"
It goes freaky, so turned it off and search function is fine...

You should report the issue to the developer, or ragtek in this case.

It's basically allowing you to use it in a way like ragtek his plugin, but it also uses the same approach.

I want to know if a) it resolves your problem, and b) if it perhaps has the same one.

Searching on the sites where I have it installed, (and beta testers haven't reported it back) seem to be fine.

Instead of the template that I use, you could also use it to have it link to post a new thread of course.
