As designed Same resource updates author

Potentially found a bug associated with the change of the resource author.

If you change this recource author (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/s9e-media-bbcodes-pack.2476/updates) to @Brogan (for example) - all 180 updates will appear as allegedly posted by him. But it's not true, it all posted by @JoshyPHP.



I say about this. Can you confirm this?

This resource was actually reassigned from Naatan to Chris D, so it's a real example: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/live-update.274/updates

However, I'm not entirely sure it's a bug as the resource is now owned by Chris D and although I haven't checked the code, I suspect the user for the updates comes from the resource owner.

By definition of how the RM works, the update is always by the resource owner. We actually don't even store the specific person writing the update; it just comes from the resource.

As such, this is basically as designed (with the current approach).

If it "as designed", then what's the point in naming the author of the update? Enough date, the author somewhere on top.
