Safari push notifications coming to macOS and iOS

Works with one too, but sometimes it’s easier for me to do it with two. Two isn’t a requirement though.

Edit: although now I’m not able to do it at all with two. Probably just have me a better chance of it registering one of my fingers. 😂

All that said, I can’t always get it to work myself and I’m fairly techie (techie just to know how to work it, not the actual action). I’ll probably end up making something pinned to the top because for normal users it’s going to be annoying. Something small like the moderator bar or something would work I think. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Or maybe something in the canvas side menu… like it available if you want it, but does T take screen real estate.

Not sure I like that. Best I can come up with currently is adding a Back link to the breadcrumb. Handy because it’s at both the top and bottom of the page.

Or adding it as an additional button when you start scrolling (like the to top button).

What about a floating back button (left arrow) when you stop scrolling in the bottom left corner (designed like a button to scroll to the top/bottom)?

Maybe a Bluetooth device implanted in your brain that lets you execute arbitrary JavaScript when you think it? Could use it for back/forward and all sorts of other things.

But on the other hand, smartphones are renowned for such gesture based actions like swiping on screens for navigation,
My news app has an arrow, car app has a navigation, messages app has an arrow, I notes has an arrow, email app (spark) has an arrow I don’t think any apps I have swipe to go back.

I think if it’s not a setting the issue must be my screen protector.

Two things in that video. There is also back arrow to go back, and also note the first flick didn’t work so it’s obviously something that needs some kind of skill.

I guarantee most if not all of those apps will also support swiping to navigate. I wasn’t claiming they don’t have a back button too, I’m just saying gesture based navigation has been common across all smartphone platforms for years.

Maybe it is really your screen protector. If it is not covering your screen to the edge, then maybe the screen doesn't detect it.

I am always using swiping, never had any problems.
