iPhone 13 Pro with 16.4.1 and it works. What I DID have to do (don't know why) is sign out of iCloud on the device, I rebooted then signed back into it again and PWA started working for me, along with the swipe left/right process.Swiping the screen for me doesn’t go back a page, just highlights text sometimes.
Maybe I misunderstood. I’m on iPhone with 16.4.1 perhaps I need to wait for an update.
Seems to be a known issue in some circumstances with iCloud and not specific to this one example.iPhone 13 Pro with 16.4.1 and it works. Yeah, I don't normally use my phone for browsing unless it's to look something up real quick when I'm doing some work and don't have a computer handy. I do have a shortcut to my site on it, and no matter how many times I deleted it and then recreated it, it was always with normal browser controls, even though the shortcut showed PWA on it (if I remember correctly).I didn't need to do this on my devices for this specific case, but I've had other weird occurrences where sign out/in fixed the issues.
Actually it seems really annoying and redundant to me - my device (Samsung Galaxy S21 / Chrome) already does have a back button that is always visible. The new back button is nice.![]()
