XF 2.1 RSS-feed importers don´t respect prefixes

Since I´ve upgraded to 2.1.3 prefixes don´t seem to be respected anymore, using the built-in RSS feed importers. Can anyone confirm this?

It seems as though we've never actually displayed the title (going back to 1.x) in the RSS feed. There might be a reason for that, though I'd have to check.

But indeed, I can't reproduce any issue with prefixes being applied to incoming feed threads:

Not currently. There have been no changes here, nor can I see any reason why it wouldn't work. If the feed has a prefix applied, that prefix will be applied, in my testing.

Guess I´ve found it. I have a rather large list of active add-ons and I´ve noticed while disabling all addons, that the process icon vanished after some time, indicating the process may have run in an execution limit. Despite, all add-ons have become disabled - at least it looked like, the add-on list was empty, also the server error log and the XF log. I raised the max exec time, memory & post size to insane values now and started that process again. Same as before - looked like a time-out, but this time - at least - the add-on was disabled causing that conflict (@Snog `s Prefix Actions).

@Chris D , regarding the time-out: would you guys think it´s worth taking a look, when I´ld open a ticket? I know you´ve got plenty of other things to do. But to be honest, I´m a bit worried this could lead to some major problems and we´re about 3 weeks from going live..

@ozzy47 & @Snog , I´m just tagging you to make you aware of this issue.

While I can't help with this because I no longer have access to update the add-ons, I can say I can't duplicate anything you describe here. I just ran an RSS import of 60 images from NASA and a prefix set to close each thread when posted with no problem.

There are a lot of questions that would need to be answered. Such as what are you importing? How many feeds get imported before your system times out? How do you have your import settings set up? How do you have your prefix actions set for the prefix being applied?

Thanks for reporting back so promptly, Snog. Since yesterdy I´m dealing with such weired errors suddenly appearing in my "new" 2.1.3 .. When I disable all add-ons, but Prefix Actions, this is what I experience. More and more I get the feeling, that there is far more going wrong under the hood I am not aware of.. If ozzy wants to take a look, I´ld be happy to create him an account.

Ozzy won't be available for a while due to work obligations.

I did notice you have Xon's multi-prefix installed (saw your post about a conflict with another add-on). That could be part of the problem since the prefix actions add-on checks to see if it's installed/active and operates a bit differently if it is. Unfortunately I can't test that any more since I don't have Xon's add-on anymore.
