RM 1.0 RM creates a "blockquote" on entry

As the title says, when I create a new resource on the RM, it puts the content in a blockquote. Is there any way to stop this, or is this a bug?

It's part of the template. Nothing to stop, no bug.

I noticed on Xenforo's RM, even though it may be in a blockquote, it doesn't take on the properties of it. On my board, however, the background color and border lines from the blockquote show up. Any suggestions on how I could fix this? It doesn't look very appealing

Without seeing the CSS in question, I'm not sure what it should be looking like (and where looks like that).
