XF 2.2 Restrict "Registered" User group to post threads on specific Forums

I want to restrict registered usergroup to post on specific forums.
But when I go to Node permissions > Select Forum > Select Registered User Group > Set "Post New Thread" permission to "No", Admins and moderators are also unable to post there? I have to change their permissions too.

Is there an easy way to do this?

You want to restrict the base "Registered group" then you have to specifically ALLOW the other groups that you do want to post there.
No "easy" way around it.
I can think of several ways to use promotions... but I don't know if the the promotion parameters would "fit" what you want to use as restrictions.

Exactly.

Registered user group is all users so you would need to set mod and admin groups to yes.
