XF 1.3 Responsive padding change in navbar

Hi,

i'm currently working on the style of the responsive version of my template and currently have the following problem:

Once i resize the design to the point where the right hand search field gets removed, the left padding of the navigation bar is also reduced. Normally not a problem, but my current design doesn't like it:


So, what i need to know is where i can disable the change of padding for the navbar once its size is reduced to the point where the search field gets removed.

(I hope i could make myself clear.)
