MG 2.1 Resizing media thumbnails

is there any options or away to resize the thumbnails to look like when viewing the large image

this is what happen to me now .

In Setup > Options > XenForo Media Gallery there are thumbnail dimension options.

each image have different dimensions so if i set 250 x 250 is that options will force each images uploaded to be match like the big image .. ?

The area of the image displayed will be cropped based on the thumbnail dimensions specified (which means square by default). So if you set it to 250x250, then each thumbnail will be that size, regardless of the size/ratio of the original image.

This worked well for the 1.x branch.

Hoping others have adapted this to 2.1 as I'll need this option before I can upgrade to the 2.x branch.
