XF 2.2 Require guests to join forum?

How can i make it so my entire forum is visible only to members and require guests to sign in to view it at all?

You need to set up permission for the guest members.

Set the main View permission to No for the Unregistered / Unconfirmed user group.

Given they wants to hide it from all guests, could be a private site of some kind in which case this is a feature, not a bug
