XF 1.5 Removing latest thread in forum still on front page as latest

Is this normal behaviour? And is this only removed when someone posts something new in that forum or cleaned up with some cron job?

Has been hard deleted, have not tested yet with soft deleted.

Tested with soft delete and then it is removed from front page as latest.

Did second test with hard delete and then it indeed stays as latest.

This is not something that should happen and I cannot reproduce it.

I suspect that this is being caused by an add-on or some sort of custom caching mechanism (there are a few cache add-ons available).

Ultimately, you will need to disable all add-ons and start enabling each one until you find the culprit. Bear in mind that just disabling the problematic add-on won't correct the last post info, that would only be updated after the change there is triggered.

Found it. Was this add-on:

Installed it yesterday, had to be something recent because noticed it only today. Tested it multiple times to be sure.

Will post this on the add-on page.
