Removing Default App for file extension in Windows 10 ?

Has anyone any idea how to set Araneae to be the default editor for .htm and .html files within Windows 10?

Currently it defaults to Firefox.

When clicking on the Firefox icon the only options it allows me to select are browsers, Word, Notepad, or look in the Microshaft store

Did you try " Right click > Open with > " there should be some option to " always choose " your app .

Have you tried going to an .html file, right-clicking, choose Properties, then on the General tab, click "Change" next to Opens with. You can then click "More apps" and then finally, "Look for another app on this PC"
