Removing and replacing domain.

So now that my site is finally built, I need to take my old domain .com version and implement into Xenforo.

So quick question is I go to cpanel and replace .net to .com domain and then set up admin panel of Xenforo to have .com in basic information is that all I need to change is the domain on server and cpanel without losing my site info.

Asking so I dont do something stupid.

Are you working with cPanel/WHM access on a VPS, or within the confines of a shared hosting account? If the latter you may need to get your hosting provider to make the change to your cPanel account unless you're using a parked domain/alias to host the primary domain.

Past that updating XF internal should be all you need. Data will remain in-tact :)

I'm using godaddy as domain provider, cpanel host with server being godaddy too. I thought best would makes sure not to many cooks in kitchen building site. So if you telling me all I have to do is change domain in cpanel then I'm square?
