RM 1.0 Remove Navigation Link

Is there an easy way to remove the entire Resources navigation link from the navigation tab? I see there is no way to control it's position. So I figured I'd just prevent RM from displaying the navigation tab at all. Then I could use Nodes as Tabs to re-create it myself, allowing me to easily control where it gets places (also where the default link points to; as I have multiple nested categories and would like to link to one by default.)

Thanks, although I was under the assumption that hiding stuff with css was bad. Is there another way of doing it?
