This is intended.
If they have 2 ad blockers (ABP and Ghostery) and disable 1 of them (ABP) the other one (Ghostery) is still active and will trigger the message.

I do understand that. But I maybe some user do not count Ghostery as an abblocker.
Perhaps @kontrabass users have the 'problem' with Ghostery?

If they use Ghostery to block ads it is an ad-blocker.
No matter if they "count" it or not because it is not named "Ad-Block".

I can see why it happens. This is because a specific change that I applied in 1.7.1, I will fix it. Thanks.

Sadly I have to disable the add-on for now. Running 1,7.1, still have handfuls of users who, after disabling AdBlockPlus for our domain, still get the notice. Oddly it only appears on certain pages/forums for them. I've had them clear their cache again and again. Browser seems to be Firefox for all of them.

I bought this product today and some users are reporting the same. I'm going to try and collect data that can help the developer figure out what is going on.

i have 1 person reporting that in Firefox with adblock disabled it's still throwing an alert. cache cleared but makes no difference.

Hmm tested and I don't get the alert when I whitelist the site.
I'll need you to ask the user two questions:
1. If he sees ads on the site
2. If the alert always shows up, or only once in a while*

*May require to disable the delay between alerts to test that.
