XF 1.5 Reinstalling current version of Xenforo

Reinstalling current version of Xenforo

I uploaded all Xenforo files using filezilla,
and my only option was to to a fresh install or rebuild
I choose rebuild master data, because I did not want to do a full install.

If I do a fresh install, will that override all my data bases?
is so, then what would need to be done after the fresh install?

Yes, it will be a new installation.

What are you trying to do?
Why did you upload the files again for the same version?

I wanted to see if it cleared up a problem with an addon. sidebar News by Andyb
the addon stopped working when I upgraded to 1.5.17
I asked Andyb and he said it works with 1.5.17
so I thought it might have been the install?
