Maybe this exists: In lieu of requiring the date of birth, I'd like to ask "Are you over 13?" This would satisfy the COPPA law and make the question less personal. I realize most people lie about their birthdates, but many are becoming offended by the question. Thanks.

XF2 already effectively supports this. You require a minimum age but don't require a DoB. The minimum age agreement is part of the default terms text.
