I recently lost my board due to losing the MySQL database, however, I still have all the files. I've rebuilt my site and I have the old attachments, but I can't view them.
Is there a way to recover them and 'reattach' them?
Darn, so nothing I can do with them? I can view the thumbnails, but that's about it. Or is there any way I can even get the images in the original resolution?
The (mostly) originals are still there -- just in the internal_data directory. However, you would need to manually rename them to the correct name/extension.
Well, I found that if I rename all the files to test.jpg or etc, that I'm able to recover them. Although this would be one by one, I am willing to do that. Then I'd be able to manually re-attach, correct?
