Not a Bug Recent Activity showing old user names

I remember it being mentioned that if a user X were to like a post, and later on his user name was changed to Y, the post liked would still show as X liked this post, since this was a one time event, if I remember correctly.

Is this the same thing? Just noticed it right here at XenForo.com. A user Z likes a really really old post that was made by a user's original account (Dragonfly) and the recent activity feed shows it as Z likes Dragonfly's post, instead of Z likes Kim's (the modified user name) post.

Does this still happen after you rebuild the user caches?

I'm not sure, Floris. This is right here at XenForo.com, not my own website.

    This isn't a bug.

Search the resolved bugs forum and you will see this has been reported many times before.

That and it is resolved now - but not retroactively.
