I recently cleaned up a ton of spam on my forums by both banning users and deleting their threads/messages.

My problem is my forum statistics show:

When in it is more like 4,000 discussions and 8,000 messages or so.

I tried using the Rebuild Board Totals Counter and messing around with rebuilding caches to see if it would help but neither did.

Is there a way I can properly reset my forum statistics? Thanks

Yeah I am having a similar issue myself. I deleted several posts but yet they show in the stats.

The stats aren't updated immediately. But you can try rebuilding the forum information in the rebuild caches section and then running the "rebuild board totals counter" cron (or just waiting for it to run manually).

Thanks for the help Mike, that did it.

I was rebuilding the total counters cache - but I guess the cron job wasn't running since it worked fine after forcing it to run.
