XF 1.4 Rebuild Xenforo not working

I moved to a new server today. And wanted to rebuild Xenforo, but get this message, it is not working.

That is typically a server issue.

You may need to contact your host for support.

Specifically, I would guess it's related to any extremely low wait_timeout setting in MySQL.

Hmm, thx. But you can't say what it is particularly, right?
It would be interesting, if my host doesnt know what to do .
I contacted them. Will inform you here, when I get a response.

wait_timeout is the most likely, but this is the MySQL manual page for that message: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/gone-away.html

Wow, I am speechless. I should have moved to a VPS I assume. Now again a problem with a shared host.

I quote them:

Our values are set as per shared hosting environment, changing them or adjusting them can create server loads. Unfortunately, your site may not be suitable for our shared environment.
We have all values set to an optimised values so unfortunately we can't help with it. We can refund if you want.

But to be fair, they also installed a module for me. So, they are supporting but I am just unlucky I assume.
