Our gaming community has been on XF for about 6 years now. Somewhere along the way, we reorganized leadership and admin personnel. As a result, we deleted the account that we had traditionally used as a centralized admin. To avoid posting confusion, any official post made on the forums from admin was always made by our community bot account (tenaciousbot). We would all just log into that account to make official community posts.
We didn't really think it through well enough to realize when we deleted the tenaciousbot account that it was the author of all of the community rules, regulations, charter, etc; ... basically, all of the official posts.
Now tenaciousbot shows up as 'community guest' with no avatar. So all of our official posts look like they were posted by a guest.
My question is simply this: Is there a way to reassign all of tenaciousbot's posts to one of the current admins without having to delete all of the threads and start over? Or can tenaciousbot be reinstated as an admin? We've tried unsuccessfully to do both, but none of us are XF experts per sey.
Thanks in advance
