XF 1.2 Reassign author of resource doesn't show for discussion

I cteated a resource, reassigned the author and all looked good.

Except in the discussion the first post has reverted to me being author.

How can I fix this please?

It only reassigns the resource itself (which allows it to be managed by a different person, for example) -- all posts in the thread are still owned by the person that did them at the time.

That's bad, I was manually copyingb articles from vbuletin CMS and reassigning to their actual author.
Is there any way to change the actual assignment so it shows correctly in the discussion?
