(Did anyone else watching this thread not get an alert for this? Is it because it was an old thread that got merged [though there are new replies that were made after the merge o_O]?)

Did a localhost install last night, no probs, nice and fast.
So, the live went on...erm about 3 mins later too, again spot on.
It took longer (as I've read elsewhere) to unzip than it did to install.

Next time, the zip goes up t'server and unzip -overwrite ... yes, I'm THAT brave. lol

Beat my record with this one. 4mins 15 seconds to update to the latest build RC2, update my style, and fix a couple of margin breaks.

Excellent work yet again K/M/A. :thumbsup:

I decided to test the upgrade process a little differently.

<START TEST>
Login to customer portal and download upgrade package
Unzip package
FTP upload to my server
Run upgrade
<END TEST: 8min 28 sec>

That may sound like twice as along as Shelley, but I left out some info...

I didn't use a computer. I did it all from my 3G iPhone while driving to work typing only at stop signs & red lights.

I challenge any other forum to perform as well under those conditions.

Knowing my luck, I would be caught and slapped with an 80 pound fine. Or just slapped. "here shelley take a good slap with this ticket".

That said, quite impressive Fred. :)

Obviously we don't recommend that anyone runs our software while driving...

But still, most impressive!
