Oh for the record, I actually typed out asteriks. I'm not writing the full curse word. I remember when Brogan gave me a warning once for typing out asteriks lmaooooooo

Oh wait, was that really Brogan or someone else cause I also remember the same thing happening to me on vBulletin.org

Wow... A web host that does not allow you to make backups. You have to wait for it to do it once a day on its own & then you can download it. If you want to do it whenever, you need to pay $12 .... Wow ..... This counts for your database too .... Wow ....

hostmonster.com

Avoid .... Avoid at all cost.

(Someone else was using them. Not me)
Of all the things that are an issue with them, making backups haven't really been one of them.

Finally migrating from individual smilies to using spritesheets. Adding in the coordinates is taking an age but well worth it since I'm noticing the page speeds are significantly faster.

I'm getting really pissed off at CNN always have that boston bombing coverage on the front page. i'm tired of seeing those fools faces MOVE ON ALREADY that crap is NOT news.

Someone asked me what's up with the site. I told her that I changed the name to churchofblackjesus.com she got upset and was like we aren't all black! I'm worried tho cause my new host said my database is messed up.

Man I'm really excited for XenMediaGallery. I can't use it now but once I do it's gonna come in handy when the importers are done.

They must have changed....

cPanel had a backup option, but it was a pre-time backup... ie... The system would make a backup once a day, once a week, and once a month. You could download from them, but you couldn't generate a backup yourself in the moment (I think they did offer it if you paid a fee or upgraded your plan).

I tried using an alternative such as MySQLDumper, but the script would time out (via perl). Using the php option, you would get different size databases (so I assume another time out).

Thankfully, this wasn't my host, but someone else's. I simply recommended them to go else where and that solved the issue (and many other issues).

There is 2 concepts I feel current society lacks or forgets... Free will and free speech.

Somewhere along the way people stop believing in both or it became taboo to encourage & participate in either. And the few who do remember such concepts, often use it for negative reasons to impose upon others or not help much of anyone.

We allow to much political correctness, social censorship, and material & insignificant things to rule the day.

Like to see some change one day. Trying hard always to encourage it.
