Also, this random thought thread seems less and less about random thoughts, and more and more about random arguments.

So that's my random thought for the day. Also also, I don't feel like going to work, but luckily it's almost weekend. (and yes, I know it's Saturday).

I just got fired from a job because someone wanted me to install php using the Windows Setup File on Ubuntu. Tried to explain to them that you can't install a working & stable server using an EXE file. They kept arguing that if they could do it on their computer (windows xp), that I should be able to do it on Linux.


I installed php and it was working, but they got pissy that I didn't use the EXE file to do it. Good enough to read their admin logs, bad on basic computer knowledge
