Oh it seems I have nothing to torture them with anymore. I mean they piss and moan if the site has downtime but that seems about the only thing I can do lmfao. I'm just not sure if I want to deal with the responsibility of it all. I suppose it's because I lack any staff with legit experience aside from 1 guy, so all duties fall on me. They know how to delete spam, that's about it. Was hoping they'd learn to recruit, support activity, and well do **** lol.

I more so like adding **** to the forum in terms of fun little toys my members might utilize. Doesn't help that the game niche I have (RDR) is not in it's 'prime'. People play it but my competitors and I have soaked up all the forum going sort. So it's just a matter of waiting for the next release and squeezing what interest is left.

I'd be willing to try to help you with your site if you want..... OR .... If you feel like truly tossing in the towel ..... I've successfully merged a few sites with my own and kept the original owners as staff. This allows them to still grow with their community, but take a step back in a respectful manner.

Just a thought....

Would gladly consider it, if I didn't already have the 1 guy(staff member) who actually cares about the site interested in holding things for a while.
So I respectfully decline the merger :)

Not bashing my own members but you may not enjoy the company there other than the staff :LOL:
Members who have been active over the past 2 years have gained my site reputation as the hooligan's site from my 'competitors' lol
Some days I wonder how I put up with any nonsense brought to the table. Not so bad lately, then again not much activity outside of myself.

We're an uncensored community. I think they would thrive on it. ;)

But I completely understand and do sincerely respect your choice. I hope you don't think I was trying to be rude or insensitive.

But the offer still stands on helping with your site .... without a merger....

You were being insensitive, Adam. Which is not uncommon when you're being attacked else where. Maybe now would be a good time to take a step back. Watch a movie. ;)

Thank you but I would not ask for help right now :) *I'm also stubborn* lol

This is just a reminder of the sort of events that used to take place on my site. I kinda miss the activity from it, but I'm not sure I miss the headache.

Oh. If you want to compare. LOL

  • I had someone claim the same thing.
  • Someone filled up my Gmail account until it was full.
  • I received a few late night death threats phone calls (religious nuts)
  • I had someone spam the site with over 1,000 post during the night (God I hate v6 IPs)
  • 1 troll tried to claim copyright over our Anonymous logo, claiming he was the original author of Anonymous (funny)
  • 1 user tried to contact Godaddy and have our domain name terminated (falsely claimed we had used fake details)

The list goes on....

Oh yes I do believe you started a thread about that around the time I joined :) I found it quite entertaining! Made me feel better about my site considering the headaches the rest of you go through lmfao.

SU has had it's ups and downs. I like to think it comes in 4 flavors.... Wonderful, good, bad, and ugly.
