Last time i said something in haste was to brogan and i regret that. You are a valued member also your in the middle and I realise that.

Can't the devs come in and say something? it's gone far enough. Your taking the flack, members are taking the flack and the whole situation is only going to get worse. PLease contact the xf devs this needs to be stamped on the head.

I'm not judging you, i don't agree what was done but your in the middle and people have to protect their investments which they showed faith in. Only the devs can fix this which you know already.

I'm not trying to be an ass just being open and honest and hate seeing xf fall like this.

It's nothing that I have done. People are just upset and they need some one to blame so they can move on. They have chosen to blame me and I am happy to fill that role if they need me to. I don't wish anyone gone.

It's important that you keep perspective on things. Every time some one leaves it is cast as a mass exodus. In reality it is one person's choice and we must recognize and respect that.

Yes but the point is that you are not doing that.
Rob's thread got jumped on and you guys allowed that until someone commented on that.
You then deleted all posts relating to that thread AND deleted the posts that were commented on thus leaving a shell of a thread behind then claiming "see there is nothing wrong here".

Again you are challenging my moderation in a public forum, and in multiple threads. Would you like to move this discussion to the PM I have opened with you?

I agree with Shelley. No matter the words to the contrary there is a problem, however you view it. There might only be a select few people posting about it, but it doesn't mean others (like me) aren't thinking about it. Slavik made a comment in another thread about cryptic comments. I'll be the one to bring them to light then, shall I, since no one else will.

Firstly, people aren't blind. It's clear that Mike and Kier are not active on the forum - there was a brief "update" a little while ago which told people a total of nothing. Now, don't get me wrong.. I don't care if 1.2 doesn't see the light of day for another year. The software is great. On the other hand, what happens when a security risk comes to light? Currently no one has any idea if there will be any patches released - a genuine concern, I feel, due to the lack of visual input from the developers.

So let's look at what is apparent, if you know where to look.

Kier and Mike are not actively posting
Kier, in fact, posts on Facebook more than he does on here.
Kier has or had some personal issues going on - which, are quite easy to figure out if you look in the right places.
Support tickets are now being fielded by Jake and Slavik.... if Kier and Mike are still around, why is that?
Mike got married a few weeks ago - Kier wasn't there.
Mike hasn't been seen around these parts since 1.1.3 was released.

If they are as devoted to this company and software as it's intimated, then why the hell does Kier log in every day and say absolutely nothing. Why does Ashley post in support threads (okay.. that sounds like he's active, when he's actually posted twice in 2 months) and completely ignore the hell that's going on around him?

Ignoring statements 1 through 6, the fact that both Kier and Ashley have been on and not even said "don't worry, folks" says either a) there's something to worry about or b) they don't give a **** any more.. which brings us back to a.

I had a nightmare this morning.

Will Smith tried to kill me with a huge rocket launcher because I went over my internet download capacity limit. Which is untrue because I have no internet download capacity limit. It wasn't just a huge rocket launcher. It was like some robotic machine on legs that had four rocket launchers attached to it but I was able to avoid it only by getting close to the launchers and hiding behind parts of it's body. It would keep trying to move around getting a better angle at me and I'd just move to the opposite position so that it's body was blocking the rocket. I had to keep moving. It was like a dance. More like a boss battle in a videogame. I then figured out that I could rip out one of the rocket launcher tubes and use it as my own rocket launcher but I didn't know how to use it. So after I ripped it out of the machine, Will stood a lil distance away yelling, trying to convince me to pay up when I clearly didn't have the triple figures to pay my astronomically, unreasonably high bill that came out of nowhere. He was standing by with this huge remote control (he didn't start using it until I ripped the rocket launcher out) wearing the suit from Hancock no homo just flapping his gums away saying he'll call the rocket launcher monster off if I agreed to pay my bill. So anyway, after I ripped the rocket tube off, he went and got a rocket tube from the monster too and pointed at me on some 'Oh okay so you wanna do it like this huh?' Now my strategy became f***** because now both Will and the rocket monster robot had rockets pointed at me and I did not know how to fire the rocket launcher. So being the a***hole I was forced to be I led them all into a densely populated area, hoping that the rocket monster would fall back but nope, both it and Will doggedly pursued me. I think Will could've shot me with a rocket at anytime but he kept yapping his gums. Dude was like 'Look man I know what your doing but it's not going to work. The rocket don't care' etc. and he was right because I realized that the rocket could no longer track me if it could not see me. I realized it had to be able to see me to shoot me whenever Will wasn't controlling the remote and at that point Will no longer had the remote. He put it in his pocket. When I realized this I started hiding behind cars but when that happened Will pulled out the remote and started making the rocket monster shoot at positions he thought I was. I was running my butt off. It was no fair at all. The rocket being both manually and automatically controlled made the situation extremely dangerous but then I realized a loop-hole. I positioned myself so that I was right behind a huge pillar. When I was behind the huge pillar I waited until Will was in between me and the rocket monster. When Will was looking in another direction and slipped out from the pillar and waved at the rocket monster. The rocket monster turned around and shot rockets at me but I was fast and slipped back behind the huge pillar but not directly behind it as I ran away from them both but behind the pillar while making sure the rocket monster's view was blocked by the pillar and found other cover to hide behind. The rockets hit Will blew him to pieces before he realized what happened, before he could stop it with his remote and it also blew the pillar I was hiding in to pieces but by that time I had found my cover so it was just looking around confused. You would thank yaaay close to victory at this but then missiles that blew up, some how regenerated or maybe some of them didn't blow up in the first place. Basically the rockets missiles whatever, started hovering around the debris like a pack of angry hornets and started searching for other targets. At this point a crowd had gathered and one of the hovering missiles randomly blew one of the people up. There were a bunch of people picketing the hovering missiles, holding up signs like 'Go away missile!'. Some even formed a ring of protest around the rocket monster but luckily for them the rocket monster ignored them and was in standby mode as it continued to search for signs of me with it's lil radar thingie. I was hiding behind a pillar and was quite flabbergasted as to why anyone would want to picket a bunch of floating missiles. Everyonce in awhile one of the protesters would throw a rock at the missile and the missile would blow them up. This was good though because it reduced the amount of floating missiles which was now down to 4. I started realizing these people were crazy and tried to avoid them just like the missiles but they kept finding me and gathering around me like poor baby we'll protect you and I'm whispering and using gestures to shoo them away. So finally I said, get away from me, it's targeting me! I half-expected them to point me out to the rocket monster but they didn't. Someone said 'We'll help. So I said uh... okay take this and gave them the rocket launcher. A 12 year old kid took the rocket launcher and I said nooo give it to someone older! Is there a man willing to do this but before everyone shrugged on some idgaf sh** the kid ran off with the rocket launcher pointed it at the missles and they blew him up, there goes my only weapon. So I ran inside a building to hide and the ISP managers were inside sitting at desk. This older white lady in a business suit walked up to me smiled and said 'We've been waiting for you to pay your bill.' I'm like 'you crazy b**** I have no bill quit trying to kill me!!!' She's like 'sir that's no reason to use that kind of language and if you continue to do so I will have to ask you to leave' I'm like man I'm calling the cops then everyone in the building started laughing and I woke up.

If one, two or three persons leave, it's their decision. If more continue to follow, there's generally an underlying problem. Even if there wouldn't be, it doesn't change the fact that valued members, addon makers and so on that made XenForo what it is today, are leaving. That tends to snowball into more people leaving. At some point, it needs to be stopped. If you relay things to Ashley, it might be wise to ask him to make an appearance to make some sort of statement. Anything, really. Even if just a "we're still alive, but.." message is better than nothing. If he refuses, for whatever the reason, or does not respond, you would do best to communicate that to the customers, so they know what they're dealing with.

While I have no problem with you personally, this isn't the first time in the last few days that someone is having issues with their stuff getting deleted. As I have no idea what's going on, as everything is getting deleted, it's hard for me to comment but.. it might be change to consider changing something? Strict moderation is generally not the way to go if people are all ready having issue with the staff / owners in my opinion. And while the concern thread was the complete opposite, in that it should have been locked much earlier, meeting somewhere in the middle might be useful.

Either way, I think everyone really just want some sort of official statement, regardless of whether it's positive or negative.

Edit: Also, if people are shouting they are looking for the door, I wouldn't be too hasty in advising them where it is. It can be taken as a "good riddance" kinda feeling, where a voice of reason would be better for everyone. Just make take on things, though.

While I have no problem with you personally, this isn't the first time in the last few days that someone is having issues with their stuff getting deleted. As I have no idea what's going on, as everything is getting deleted, it's hard for me to comment but.. it might be change to consider changing something? Strict moderation is generally not the way to go if people are all ready having issue with the staff / owners in my opinion. And while the concern thread was the complete opposite, in that it should have been locked much earlier, meeting somewhere in the middle might be useful.

Cherry, Strawberry and Brown Sugar and Cinnamon. How come I just discovered these litte pockets of heaven. I have even managed to learn how to pop them out of the toaster unto the top of the toaster so I don't burn my fingers-and this makes me happy. Scary.

What's next? Hot pockets?

I would not get into an argument with Jake about Rob's thread because Rob trolled everyone by saying he knew stuff about KAM's situation that we didn't know, wouldn't tell us then said he's leaving. Now he may not have purposely trolled us, but he still ended up trolling nonetheless. You don't say stuff like that and not expect a negative reaction/rude comment.
