I find it uncomfortable when someone offers their seat to someone who is standing as it is a lose/lose for everyone else around them. We are now the jerks who didn't offer our seats and if we do, we are only doing it because the other person offered first. Lose/lose...

IMO Apple is "slightly" overpriced.

Built a new rig for my brother the other day and just compared those specs to a Mac Pro, was only $2,400 cheaper. :rolleyes:

I need something that could run motion effects in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro. Can your rig do that?

Considering that I've been using Premiere Pro and After Effects on a daily basis, yes. ;) Oh and my rig was even less than the one I built for my bro. I'm only running a i5-3570K and I'm still on my old GeForce 9800 GTX+ video card. lol Looking to upgrade the card in the very near future though, thinking about this one.

Wow I can't afford that. Is that as good as the graphics card in the new mbp with retina?

If you can't afford a $400 graphics card why are you looking at Macs? lol

The crazy thing is that that video card cost about as much as my processor, motherboard, and RAM combined. :eek:

One website(way better prices for laptops, PCs are cheaper but that comes at the cost of Mac OS X through hackintoshing being extremely unreliable.): cyberpowerpc.com

'nuff said.
 
I guess ill edit all my resources to include a line that says 'unsupported'

I can't even fix my own site, let alone someone else's.
 
Newegg has an open box center and cyberpowerpc ibuypowerpc can often be found there for SUPER cheap. My bro scored a $900 rig for $180 there. All he had to do was buy a power cable and keyboard :) They go fast but if you get one... they're worth it.
