Tonight I learned I sat a desk away from a beauty pageant queen on my last job. I knew she did a lil modeling (she never told me what kind and I didn't ask) but I didn't know she was on TV and winning shows. She wore big sweaters to work and no makeup. How was I supposed to know? One day I got her to join my site but she didn't post so I deleted her (I was indiscriminate in deleting zero posts posters and I still am to this day). Ah man... She even said she'd do some modeling for my site one day but I never took her up on it cause I was too busy trying to figure out vBulletin. I wonder if I should ask her again. Nah. I would hate for her to sign up only to find out the site is down an hour later.

Sometimes when members go off on me out of nowhere I wonder what I said to piss them off in the past. The thread was deleted so It took me awhile to connect-the-dots that this dude must've been still stinging from some remarks I made about Windows 8 themes. It's nothing personal dude. I like your site. I just really hate Windows 8 UI. It insults my intelligence. It's an affront to my sensibilities and a huge inconvenience to my work flow. It's a large reason that I mainly use Mountain Lion. This coming from a dude who thought Macs were an aquired taste only fit for nerds. My how time changes things... Or how stupid CEOs greenlit garbage that makes you win some and hopefully lose so much that they'll have no choice but to fix that rainbow-colored pre-school blocks of BSMedia called Windows 8.

If I sound like I'm angry yes I am.

Was at my friend's house chilling right... She asked me if I wanted to read her Oprah magazines.

Like seriously? Do I look like I want to read some frickin Oprah magazines?

She's like 'you look like your bored'.

Bored enough to read Oprah magazines? How emasculating.

Does it work yet? I'm not buying it until you tell me it works LOL

I pre-purchased or rather gave payment to my brother before i knew of the issues so i had no way of pulling out of this.

First things first it's slow, I got the physical game (not digital download) so yeah installed that, Already had an origin account so you'll' have to sign up for one if you haven't got one already. Got a couple of errors with not having an account (when i did) product didn't authenticate, then it eventually did but it's frigging slow. Then you have to update the game (ea released a patch) btw the patch is the full game) so you'll have to wait for 10gig to download. Overall, I haven't started a game yet but it's so frigging slow (it's clear the ea servers can't cope) this was 5am I can only imagine it'll be worse during the day.

You are forced I read to do the tutorial, if you happen to crash out half way through (and there's a good chance you will) you have to redo that. Not only that, lets say you create a city on server usa west coast you have to hope you can connect back to that server otherwise connecting to another server will result in you having to create your city all over again. That also said, EA have had to cut some features in that update i was talking about due to the servers no coping with demand so for the time being you won't have certain features until ea sort the servers.

In short, it's worse than the Diablo 3 launch, much worse. If i were you I'd seriously wait, and I would hold off getting the digital download if you do want to get it badly and purchase the dvd at your local store (atleast if EAs incompetence does persist your able to bring it back and get a refund) EA are banning origin accounts if you do a chargeback on your card or they are threatening to if you do which as far as i am aware would stop you playing other games from your origin account .

Definitely wait, the game itself from what I seen is excellent, just EA are screwing the customer like they do.

Oh well, my luck to purchase games with bad launch issue.

Are they owned by IB?

Did I just go there? o_O

This might explain why they're still in business. *warning offensive language used in video*

Well... that was very well said.

But I seem to be fine now. I am on Europe 4 server.
