At my day job, I've had that for about six weeks.

At my day job, I've had that for about six weeks.

I'm working on a few projects for XenForo and also working on trying to "de-bug" something on my site.

I think I'm doing to much and so I'm "burning out" or maybe just getting all "puzzled", because I'm the kind of person who skips around and doesn't stick to the same thing. ..... Don't get me wrong.... I do finish my task. But I don't do it all at once. I go from A, E, B, D, F, G, C

At my day job, I've had that for about six weeks.

I feel like my "haze" has been going on for ten years! I have nowhere near the concentration I had even three or four years ago.

I think I'm doing to much and so I'm "burning out" or maybe just getting all "puzzled", because I'm the kind of person who skips around and doesn't stick to the same thing. ..... Don't get me wrong.... I do finish my task. But I don't do it all at once. I go from A, E, B, D, F, G, C

I think I'm just burning out, period. Sad thing is, I'm doing the mid-life thing and nearly done getting a degree in "Business I.T." with plans to go on and get a Bachelor's out of it, but I feel like I'm burned out on computing in general. I don't even look forward to doing work for clients online anymore. I still get that thrill from delivering a completed site but it takes so much more effort on my part to get there. I have hobby sites of my own that I told my staff I would upgrade in 2004 or 2005 which still sit untouched.

I really am pushing to get back into my original industry (industrial distribution), but that industry got so beaten down in the last several years that it will never recover. With automotive and steel pretty much emaciated in S.E. Michigan from where it was 20 or even 10 years ago, the need for my old talents is almost nonexistent anymore...and I've even exploited any connections I've made in over 20 years working with them.

I've long since stop caring and stop trying to hide them long time ago.

My view point is thus...

I'm me. Love me, like me, hate me, despise me, it matters not. I'm going to be me. Make peace with it. It's going to happen.

While it is easier to "tweak" XenForo than anything I have ever used.

I am finding out that it is harder to skin than anything I have ever used.

Can XenForo blend? Not that I've seen so far.

A friend was freaked out by the flying monkeys and still reacts to them with a bit of a cringe. Naturally after she revealed this bit of information she was then deluged with references to Oz in every way possible including flying monkey background on her PC & the such. Ah, friends.

I got so f*cking tired of every skin released being either bright, bright white (off white at best) or very dark, dark black (gray at best).

It was time for a change.

This skin will be released here on XenForo. It will also be the first skin I know of released as Open Source

Have you seen this: http://cyberap.net/styles/metro ? It definitely has some nice qualities to it that you might want to consider adopting to your theme.

lol That one kid modified both my vB4 and Broganbot skin, then re-released them so you might as well call that Open Source too.

It's not supposed to be though. He also did it to the chocolate skin and re-released it as a style called Western but I think someone else caught on to it.
