- Then fix your font... Although YOU know it's a "C", it clearly looks like an "S" to those of us who completed middle school or higher.
- It's terribly cluttered. A forum isn't entirely about what YOU like. It's what your members like unless you are okay with 36 members for the rest of your life.
So may I ask why you posted your site in the showcase & Critique forum if your going to ignore all the suggestions?

I will fix it. but im not a master of photoshop like all of you. It took me few hours messing with ps then making my own logo.. took me 4 hours... btw ggace could i get your html code for your welcome pop up.. it looks centered and nicely align i would like to use that as a stepping stone

Yes, this. Splash pages are only useful when you're currently working on something. Which obviously, you're not (OP). Really.

As well as losing the splash page (don't wait, do it NOW) you really need to change the header too, not just for the 'sourse' spelling mistake but because of the graphic. Why are your images of Asian girls only? Who exactly do you want to attract to your forums - blokes with a thing for 'Asian chicks'? Or do you want your demographic to be male and female from various backgrounds around the world?
You need to think through this carefully and choose a style and graphics that will attract the audience you want.

Then a change of graphics from the current Asian girls is definitely needed.
You might link straight to the forums and so might your existing users but new visitors won't - they'll see the splash page. Not everyone will be directed there by you, many will find the place themselves through search engines etc.
So as has been said by many, lose the splash page.

I clicked the link and had I been doing a random search for a general discussion site, I would have reached that splash page and closed the tab immediately as it gives the impression that it's nothing but a porn hub. But, since it was posted here in showcase and I wasn't looking for a general discussion site I clicked through on this occasion. Forum doesn't have anything at all that appeals to me - the logo is awful, the typo (and yes, sourse is a typo and not a funny font c - which is clearly obvious from the c in discussion) needs fixing, the site name for a discussion forum makes no sense whatsoever, and quite frankly, the entire site just makes me think of one of the free yuku (old ezboard) throw away sites that were ten a penny. You have a forum dedicated to lego. . . with one thread in it - doesn't that tell you how little people on your forum want to talk about it? . . And Bronies - again one thread. Way too many forums, not enough activity.

As a user that has developed (rather designed) side resources for the Chris Deeming - notifications add-on I can tell you there is absolutely nothing wrong with the mod. You've obviously not set the permissions correctly. Yes?
1. Splash page - Keep it, I kinda like it, it's saying "let's dance" and that's exactly what I'm doing, dancing (breaking out in song) and dancing a little. Ignore the others they are obviously liking it really and dancing their shoes off their feet. That's as far as my critique goes, i closed the page down after that.
2. Regarding the splash page - Add some music (mp3, midi) file with the appropriate music which will get more people dancing.
3. Add in some animated Lens flares (they can't exceed anything over 256 colour).
4. Remove the Bio hazard sign by the "Enter" since people may think if they enter, they'll catch an STD. Also, yellow on white is difficult to read. Rather a strain on the eyes.
Other than that - It's getting there.

I wasn't being sarcastic. You can read more info here regarding my attempts at having the OP do something with the splash page, specifically removing it. Anybody even thinking of adding a repetitive midi files should build a time machine and venture back to 1990 and give Geocities and Homestead a good ole hearty hug.
It's the Op choice though, each to their own.

On the subject, I agree with Shelley about the splash page. It would be best if you removed it. When I loaded it for the first time I got the impression of some adult related forum.

It's unnecessary, it's purely just an 'enter' page, doesn't have a portal or any other link(s), you may as well just use the forumhome.
