question about import process

If I understood, the process is simple as:
-Install XenForo ("forumxf")
-Backup VB database (and files/directories also)
-Follow the steeps from importing manual (and redirection too)
-Delete vb directory ("forum")
-Update the Board URL in the ACP > Options > Basic Board information (change "forumxf" to "forum")
-Change "forumxf" directory name to "forum" (instead of moving, its more easy)

right?

But yes, your steps are basically correct.
Also don't forget to implement the redirects.

Everything perfect. I spend/take/was all night to import forum without sleep, very nervous, etc... but everything is ok now, forum working ok, redirections ok, forum prefixed management super-ok.... for the moment everything seems more easy to manage than with VB (I don't know how is IPB).
