Question about Facebook Avatar

Hello

Yesterday i created an account over at 8wayrun.com using Facebook login. This worked fine and my picture from Facebook is used as my profile avatar.

Then i associated my account here on Xenforo.com with my Facebook account but somehow my facebook picture is not used here.

Is this feature turned off here on Xenforo.com? And if it is what are the benefits of turning it off ?

Did you create your account here via Facebook, or create the account and then associate it?

The latter will not update your avatar, the former will.

Here i already had an account and I associated it.

I guess that kind a explains it then. But should there not be an option to use my Facebook picture then. You know i actually had an avatar before i associated with Facebook.

Associating my account with Facebook changed my username to my real name and left me avatarless.

So I must have done something wrong. but hey that does not compute with me not having my Facebook avatar, like i do over at 8wayrun.com.

I guess this would be a feature suggestion then? My IPboard has a setting to use my facebook avatar even if the account was associated later on. I'll request this in the proper forum if it hasn't been suggested yet.
