Quark 1.5.22.0

No permission to download
Our developer still hasn't finished updating accounts. Talking with him tomorrow.
Yep... I saw an update on it and that's why I am not in a hurry. I know it will get done and I'm not one of those that have to immediately update to the "latest & greatest" (I'm not even using the BETA of XenForo - which I usually do - I'll let others find what addons it breaks as I run WAY to many). Since it is basically going to have to be a full reinstall/restyle of the style (and I have made a LOT of changes) I just will wait until a slow period for me to do it.

Yes... I got the UIX framework fine but he missed quark in antiquark for me. :p
It's no big deal as it gives me some time to make some adjustments that I need to do while I wait on the archive to be updated at the support site. I understand that updating the resources (especially if you use an automated system to do it) can take some time/run into glitches so I didn't really worry that much about it. Just gives me more time to play some BF4. :ROFLMAO:

I don't understand. Why would quark be in anti-quark?

So this is a completely different style now. Not sure I like some of the changes. Why does the sidebar no longer fade?

"Remove Content Wrapper" removes the background. This is a big change. the background should be different than the padding removal.

That feature still exists under Quark Settings in the style properties. We default it to off, most people didn't like it.

"Show Node Stats Only On Hover" does not work.

Known bug, fixed in our version and will be released in 1.3 RC1.

"Remove Content Wrapper" removes the background. This is a big change. the background should be different than the padding removal.

Not sure I understand. Check the Quark background removal option as well.

We defaulted the sidebar to the right because most people preferred it there. We take all opinions to heart and actually do make sure they are made possible if that is what the majority of people want. That said, you can get to the default configuration by what I said above as well as pushing the sidebar to the left.

Please don't take my comments personal. I'm just trying to understand the drastic changes made so I can redo all the customizations I made prior. I am just trying to help find possible bugs.

"Forum Node Style uix_nodeStyle 0 is default, 1 is side by side nodes, 2 is side by side category nodes"
This setting does not work as stated. 0 works fine but 1 forces 2 and 2 just makes everything weird. 2 makes the nodes the width of 1 and displays them like 0.

That setting removes padding margins and background. Why not just have separate settings for padding, margin and background? It's an all or nothing rule when some, like myself, don't want all or nothing. before I could have the background and remove the padding.

2 doesn't work fully yet. 1 is default node style anyway. Not sure what you mean by one forces two.

Sorry, I'm just not finding this setting.

Under style properties under quark look for quark settings. Same place where you would find quarks mode.

That setting removes padding margins and background. Why not just have separate settings for padding, margin and background? It's an all or nothing rule when some, like myself, don't want all or nothing. before I could have the background and remove the padding.

Show me how you want it I'll tell you the settings. If it's built. We took nothing away. If it did it before it can do it now.

0 means normal nodes. 1 means side by side nodes. 2 indicates that you want side by side in categories.

However 1 makes forum list and categories side by side. 2 makes them half width like side by side but displays them vertically in a single column. So they are only on the left side of the page.

By the description and logic 0 should be no side by side. 1 should be forum list only. 2 should be forum list and category nodes. 1 is doing what two should do.

Because Antiquark is a child style of Quark with just some color changes.
You install
UIX -> Quark -> AntiQuark.
Parent -> child -> child
@Audentio can you confirm this? I had it installed as the following:

UI.X -> Quark -> Style where i make changes
Same UI.X Branch as above-> Anti Quark -> Style where i make changes.

If you are talking about the release before the current one, if you checked your archive you would find that quark was included. I tried it the way you did and it didn't have some of the features of Quark (and if you look at the included templates you will find a call to quark in there). The latest version does not include Quark in the package and you lose features of quark if you just install the Antiquark (or at least on the version I downloaded you did).
Instructions (base) to install are at http://www.audentio.com/documentation/uix#sub-installation.
I notice on the support site that Antiquark is $5 now (I paid $45 for it and it included all 3) and Quark & Antiquark is an option at $15 (and I'm assuming based upon looking that it is dependent upon purchasing UI.X as the base also).

EDIT: I re-read your post and think you are talking the same as I was. I just assumed (and yes, I know what happens when you do that!) the custom child would be known to be made off the base of the listed process. :p

As I said, 2 is not conplete. It is not an official feature.

In my opinion, you should install quark like:

UI.X > Quark > Style you make changes to

or for Antiquark:

UI.X > Quark > Antiquark > Style you make changes to

As I said, 2 is not conplete. It is not an official feature.

When can we expect that? And even so, 1 is doing what 2 should be doing. How can I make 1 behave properly and only display side by side on forum list. I've spent a lot of time adapting it to having categories single column that I can't back track now.
