XF 2.2 PWA Question

I have a html shoutcast radio player running on my site, if I install 2.2 and PWA if someone plays the radio can they use other apps and they will still be able to hear the radio?

To be honest, I'm not sure. Unfortunately, it's really not something that XF has any control over. Ultimately, it's still just a website and the "packaging" as an app is handled by the browser itself, so any limits would be applied at the browser level.

Thanks for the reply Mike. It works if I stream from the site in chrome on mobile and then minimise the browser and do other things. Just if I change webpage the music stops. Hopefully this will allow it to carry on playing whilst using the browser to browse other pages also. Will update with my findings once I have 2.2 installed

Hi there not sure what this means. Does it play audio if you switch from the app to a browser and start browsing?

I can confirm the app does carry on playing audio when minimising the app to do other things on android
