XF 2.2 "Push Notifications Blocked" message

One of our members has been using Push notifications successfully but tonight reported getting message

"Push notifications blocked" (greyed out)

when he tried to save preferences.

Member has been using Edge app on Windows and Firefox app on Android successfully for about 2 weeks.

Now "blocked" message appears on both devices.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling app with no change

Anyone able to offer ideas on resolving please?

Appears to be in member's browser settings. Admin has successfully logged in as member in Chrome app and Edge app and enabled Push without issues.

I know this is an older post, but I have question related to same topic. I just recently upgraded from 2.2.5 to 2.2.15 and enabled push notifications. In testing I do get the little popup banner at the botton asking me if I want to enable push notifications. However, when I look in my preferences, I see "Push Notifications Blocked" but no clue as to why other than a supported device is needed. I'm using an iMac with latest Sonoma OS and Safari browser. Anyone have an idea what is causing the push notifications to be blocked?
