Purchasing a Used License

Hi, I'm purchasing a license from a person that looks decently trustable. It's a 1.5 license, and he claims that it is transferrable. I know about Xenforo, but I have no idea what you have to do in terms of owning one.

I just have a few questions:
1. What is required to own a Xenforo license?
2. How do I ensure that it's not a scam?
3. Is it possible for him to transfer ownership of the license and then revoke it after I've paid him?
4. What things does he need to do to give me full ownership
5. Are there any restrictions on what I can do with the license since I've bought it from him?

You can sell a licence once so it's possible! Ask them to prove it's valid by using this checker :

As far as I am aware once the transfer is initiatied he can't then revoke it.

The only restriction is you can't sell it on again as it can only be sold once.

It verifies that the license is valid for transfer.
Once they provide a validation token and the domain it is on/was set for, you will see something similar to this. This is an example of a license that I obtained from another party, so I'm the second licensee and it is NOT valid for transfer.
