XF 1.5 Problems with installing a new style

    Hello XF,

    I got some problems with xml files in styles.

    i try to install a new style, i uploaded all files correctly to ftp, now when i try to aply the xml file in the acp i get this error >
    I also get this error when trying to install a new addon.[​IMG]

    i try to look it up here in the forums but couldn't find a solution that solved my problem.

    Is this a custom style you created or one available in resource section of XenForo? If its a specific resource its best to post on that resource thread.

    It is a style i just bought on via xenforo, and its not only when i tr to install a style but also when i try to install a addon, i just simply wont read xml files anymore ..:(

    Do you have one of those Add-on Installers installed on your forum? I remember seeing a problem with one of those causing errors like this previously.

    Additionally can you export your default style, import that; does it work?

    i disabled all addons and still don't work

    Can you upload attachments or avatars to your forum?

    Noo :( The uploaded file is too large for the server to process.

    What is the upload_max_filesize set to in PHP?

    You can check that in /admin.php?tools/phpinfo

    I would guess that there are issues writing to the temporary directory PHP wants to store files in. You should check the php.ini upload_tmp_dir setting and adjust it if necessary.
