XF 2.3 Problems with emails on knownhost

Hi! First, I'm a noob when it comes to things like this.

I have the latest version of Xenforo hosted by knownhost. My problem is that knownhost blocks ports for outgoing emails so I can't sent emails from my website due to those restrictions. I asked knownhost but they won't open the ports needed.

I did try many "solutions" (brevo, mailgun, etc.). Do you guys found a way to make it work?

Why any of them didn't work? What ports are they blocking?

Perhaps @DanielP can advise based on your plan with them?

Perhaps a dedicated SMTP setup independent from the hosting is required?

Thanks to all! Knownhost doesn't have permission to send emails via gmail. I just had to add another address.
