XF 2.3 Problem with FontAwesome icon

I am trying to fix a banner template. Before, that icon fa-user was shown. But after upgrade to 2.3, a square is showing to the users.

The code is:

I tried to rename \f007 to fa-user, but dont work.

To

Almost there. There is a small problem with the icon and the background that the code customizes.

I want a solid like this: https://fontawesome.com/icons/user?f=classic&s=solid to be white.

.m-faContent(@fa-solid fa-user); don't work.

With only .m-faContent(@fa-var-user); it looks like this



But the point of the code is to look like this.



It is a code that works for all banners in extra.less placing a darker stylized part of the banner color as the background of the icon.

I noticed that after the update, it seems that these icons that work by content code don't work like before.

I noticed that I had also added code to extra.less that changed the Online icon. Now the icon is back to the Xenforo default. At least the animation continues.

The code uses:
.message-avatar-wrapper .message-avatar-online::before { content: "\f192"; }

It is a code in the same style as the banner. I think is CSS. Would it be some incompatibility with 2.3? Developers may have changed the fontawesome.

The result was on print. Maybe I need to find another code. Just this change dont allow the banner to back how it was.

This may, or may not, be of help. I used the following code to re-add my navigation icons, perhaps you could play around with this to see if you can get it to work on your icon.
