Private forum permission does not carry over?

For some reason private forum permission did not import over from vB4.2 to XenForo, is this normal?

Update, it appears that private groups have no access to any of the forums. The permission part will truly be a pita.

I know what the permissions are, what I am not understanding is why the permissions are not carrying over after importing.

Anyways, I suppose I am being lazy, I should be able to take care of the permissions within half an hour.

How many private forums do you have? I'd imagine you can fix it with much less than 30 minutes unless you have a crapton of forums.

Which importer did you use?
