XF 2.1 private forum between admin and user?

How to setup 1 forum node as private communication between user and admin. Or is there some better way to handle this?

Why create a whole forum for discussion between an admin and a user when you can do this more easily in a conversation?

If you really need to do it, just set the forum to private and in node permission just add those two users to view it.

^this is the answer if it's communication between lots of different users and the admin that you want to keep discussions private from others. I interpreted the OP's post due to how it was written as between a single user and an admin.

Just make sure that it's set for unregistered too. I had my "contact" forum one-on-one with members for the first 2 months, so I thought, but if you logged out, you could see all posts.
