XF 1.2 prevent users from deleting / editing posts

is it possible somehow to prevent special users from deleting/editing posts in general or in special forums?

It's a bit unintuitive but here are the steps:

1) Go to Admin CP
2) Click User tab
3) In the search box enter the members username
4) Click Find User
5) Click the Permissions link for the user you want to set special permissions for

The rest of the steps should be obvious.
