Pre-Sales Question

I have setup the demo and love it. Here is my pre-sales question:

We already have a "members area" on our website in which our members must log into on our site to access their personal control panel. If we purchase the "hosted" version of xenForo is there a way that we can link (or send) our users to xenForo from their "members area" without them having to log into xenForo?

Essentially we want to setup their profiles on xenForo as their Admins and we then want them to be able to go back and forth from their "members area" and xenForo without having to login to xenForo and it still be private and not viewable to the public.

Is this possible? Or would we HAVE to go with your "downloaded" version to make this work?

It sounds like you want some form of single sign on.

That will require custom development.

To further add on to what Paul B said, it will be easier for you to implement this on either the hosted or downloadable version of XenForo when XF 2.3 is released.

Furthermore, you can install addons in the hosted version too so if you needed it sooner and someone can create an addon for you, that works too.

So, to my knowledge, yes it would work in the hosted version but will need some custom development and when 2.3 is released, the development needed will be much smaller.
